Travel Ideas for Divorced People: Your “Divorce Honeymoon”

Travel Ideas for Divorced People: Your Divorce Honeymoon

Re: Travel Ideas for Divorced People

Hi Everyone!

Finding travel ideas for divorce people is what I do in my free time. It is a fun and rewarding pastime.

What I have discovered is that a lot of divorced people are looking for ways to reboot their psyche and revamp their lives. Not all of course. Some divorced people allow themselves to become so sad and depressed after their divorce that they do not have the wherewithal to even book a trip never mind go on it. The last thing they want to do right after divorce is act like they don’t have a care in the world, or even to move on with their lives in a positive way. I feel bad about that and wish I could be their fairy.

Often, according to my way of thinking, a trip is the very thing that they need and it is the very thing that will help them to reboot and relaunch – and it could be a staycation, by the way.

Indeed, traveling after divorce can be quite therapeutic and just what the doctor ordered, especially after a “bad” divorce experience. You know the ones I am talking about? The toxic horror stories about breakups from hell you read about in the newspapers and blogs?

Speaking of travel ideas for divorced people, view this slideshow of “BEST PLACES TO TRAVEL AFTER DIVORCE” Then continue reading after the jump.

One of the key reasons divorced people should travel is because they need a little distance

The idea with this article about travel ideas for divorced people is that traveling after divorce is truly one of the best and easiest ways to put distance between yourself and your past and to rejuevenate your spirit and get your adrenaline pumping again and get you thinking about your life in a healthy, positive and optimistic way again.

You can travel solo or with other people. A lot of people when they think of traveling after divorce, they get depressed because they imagine traveling solo. Traveling solo after divorce is not for everybody. But rest assured it does not have to be solo if that is not your cup of coffee. You can travel with friends or you can join a travel club.

The idea is that after your marriage ends, it is time to start thinking about taking care of yourself and the début of your new life can happen on a trip someplace away from the wreckage once known as your marriage. Nothing wrong with that at all.

So, what travel ideas for divorced people do I have in this article? Where should you go? In addition to the locales in the slideshow above, there are other places you can go. It depends on your mood and how you feel and what you want. Do you want relaxation – if so, why not try a poustinia? Do you want to get out some of your left over aggression? Do you want pampering? Do you want some divorce retail therapy? Will you be traveling alone? Or with the kids and therefore you need a post-divorce family vacation spots list? Or is this, gasp, a “divorce honeymoon?” It all depends on what your personal situation is. What’s your pleasure?
